ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

The National Organization of Italian Americans in Film & Television (NOIAFT) is a global network dedicated to connecting, supporting, and empowering Italian Americans in the entertainment industry. Founded in 2019 in response to the lack of accessible opportunities for Italian American creatives, NOIAFT now includes over 600 members across the globe and remains committed to building a more inclusive and collaborative media landscape.

The organization produces year-round programming, including cultural panels, educational workshops, industry Q&As, and advance screenings of culturally relevant films. NOIAFT has collaborated with major studios on high-profile releases such as The Many Saints of Newark, House of Gucci, and The Irishman, and has hosted panels for institutions like the National Italian American Foundation and the Columbus Citizens Foundation.

With a focus on mentorship and community-building, NOIAFT oversees a robust internship program that provides hands-on experience and guidance to emerging talent. Strategic partnerships have included a collaboration with Minerva Pictures to promote MOVIEITALY+, a premier streaming platform for Italian cinema.

NOIAFT also maintains a strong media presence through press coverage at top-tier events including the New York Film Festival, Tribeca Festival, the VMAs, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductions, helping elevate Italian American representation on a national stage.
