Member Spotlight: Ana Marie Calise

Ana Marie Calise is an Italian American actress, singer, writer, and editor. She was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts and grew up in Rhode Island. She recently graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama. Within Tisch, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute, The New Studio on Broadway (Musical Theatre), and Stonestreet Studios.

Ana has done an extensive amount of film and TV work. Recently, Ana has had leading and supporting roles in a variety of independent films including “That’s E”, “The Perfect Fit”, and “Creatures of the Night”. She also starred in an episode of “Grave Mysteries” on Investigation Discovery, which is premiering on February 4th. Ana wrote the screenplay for “A Different Kind of Animal” in 2018 and is very excited to work with Blue Slate Films in 2019.

Member ANA MARIE CALISE is currently fundraising for her short film, which stars herself and Robert Capron (Diary of a Wimpy Kid). The story follows a New York City dog walker who takes action when she realizes one of her clients—a dog—could be in trouble.
